I am a freelance designer and specialise in making, modifying and adapting custom gear for EDC, Urban Survival and Bushcraft with consideration for limited SAWC (Space/Size And Weight Constraints).

HBK+ Jute 715 Bracelet + Micro Fire Starter Kit Designed to be worn routinely like a watch you will soon get into the habit of having the bracelet with you at all times. After a while it should feel odd when you are not wearing it! I like to think of it as wearable back-up survival aid to compliment my existing skills and training. You’re separated from your group. You’re separated from your gear. It’s getting dark and it’s getting cold, very cold. You decide to stay put, find shelter and make a fire. You start gathering wood ready to build a fire. You reach into your pocket for your lighter…gone! You frantically start searching through all your pockets, no lighter. Luckily you started wearing your bracelet routinely like a watch about 3 weeks ago and you still are wearing it… Removing your bracelet from your wrist you then locate the Micro-FireSteel (MFS) and Micro-Ceramic Striker (MCS) from the elastic sleeve. Need tinder? No problem; you unravel the cord and remove the inner core of Jute.
