I am a freelance designer and specialise in making, modifying and adapting custom gear for EDC, Urban Survival and Bushcraft with consideration for limited SAWC (Space/Size And Weight Constraints).

Sheath Prototype Type I for BFE LABS UltraLight Kit Knife
At present BFE LABS has no sheath available for these individual blades – the website recommends putting a small fold of foil, secured with 90mph, Duct, or Gorilla, Tape over each edge to protect it, and other kit contents.
In my opinion a knife like this is not complete without a sheath…
I received a sample of the Skinner Point design yesterday via OscarDelta SPD/Survival DEPOT and immediately set to work on developing a minimalistic low-cost, light-weight sheath and this is the result.
The sheath shown here is dual purpose and I will reveal this subject to testing.
It has a lanyard hold for the pendant rig (550 break-away connectors) for neck carry. The sheath holds the knife firmly and will also accept the Clip Point design without modification.
This is the first prototype and further designs will follow including a Kydex version that will have various attachment options.
I am also working on custom sheaths for the SERE Black Ops “V” Cutter and FRS (Folding Razor Saw) ツ
